Cockroaches Can Wipe the Sleep Out of Your Eyes at 3 AM

If you have a large infestation of cockroaches you want to step slow and easy if you walk to the kitchen for a drink of water at three o’clock in the morning.
Especially if you step onto your kitchen floor before you turn on the light.
The first thing that comes to your senses is the crunching sound of those little bodies grinding into the tiles as your foot comes down on them with all the weight of your body. Roach bodies are hard-shell, and when you step on them those bodies crack and crunch.
In the dark, when you’re still mostly walking in your sleep, that cracking and crunching is loud enough to jolt you to full wakefulness just as if someone ran a coke bottle around the inside of a galvanized metal trash can with ribs.
That sudden clamor is not an experience you long for if you have a weak heart.
And if you do turn on the light before stepping into the kitchen the illusion of a room in motion is enough to bring you to full alertness.
Once you turn out your lights and climb into bed for the night, the roaches come out to play. And for the rest of the night they roam all over your kitchen counters, inside your cabinets, and across the floor in search of food they’ll carry back to the nest – where they store it for the babies that they’re expecting soon.
Those rascals constantly lay eggs that hatch out new babies.
If your roach population is large you’ll see them moving around your kitchen at night. At first it’s just a movement you catch from the corner of your eye, and when you look in that direction nothing’s there.
Then, as the cockroach family grows, they get brave and stick around so you see them even as you walk toward the source of the movement. They don’t care if you’re there because they have you outnumbered.
Let that population grow without treating it, and soon you’ll walk into your kitchen, turn on the light, and that tile floor looks like it’s covered with plush brown carpet.
And it isn’t too long before that starts happening in the daytime.
Roaches are easily eliminated if you treat them before their family growth gets a foothold in your house. Problem is most of that population growth takes place inside the walls of your house, and you don’t even know it’s happening until the population is big, and much harder to control.
Preventing cockroach invasion isn’t a tough job either. You just need good housekeeping skills and discipline. If your house is clean they don’t find food, and have no reason to make their home there.
Once they do get started you’ll likely see them first under the kitchen sink, running along the water and drain pipes. If you suddenly Cultural Control Pest shine a light under there and see movement, it’s time to do a thorough cleaning, and activate a treatment program to kill them off.
Best way to treat for roaches is strategic placement Pest Control Library of roach bait in the areas where they roam the most.
Let them take that stuff back to the nest to feed the babies.
